Yes, in most cases you will need to provide original documents. Any documents submitted that are not originals will be recorded as and marked as a "COPY"

Motor Vehicle & Recording Closed for Elections
The Recording and Motor Vehicle Divisions will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 to assist with the General Election. All divisions will be open on Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00am.
